We started our new class novel, How to train your dragon. We created our own dragons and made a fact file about them. #antoliteracy

Primary 5 and 6 worked together this week to create a book trailer for a book they enjoy #antoliteracy @MrsDowdsAntoPS

At STEM Leading the Learning this week, we made a catapult and basketball hoop. #antoSTEM

For outdoor learning, we built a shelter using natural resources

After learning about Viking runes, we were able to write our own names

P5 have enjoyed outdoor learning with Under the Trees 🌳

Using clay, P5 were able to carve their own Viking tune during outdoor learning with Under the Trees.

During outdoor learning with Under the Trees, P5 completed a treasure hunt using Viking runes.

We started our new topic, The Vikings. We were able to explore different resources and books to find out what we wanted to learn.

Phil from the Greenhill Historical Society visited our class this morning to tell us about the industries there used to be in Bonnybridge. We enjoyed hearing about the metal work and looking at the boot jack made in the foundry. @RightsPs

We were learning how to use descriptive language to up level our writing. We created word banks of adjectives, adverbs, similes and sentence openers to use in our writing.

We were learning about different types of bridges today. First we predicted and tested beam and arch bridges to see what would hold the most Lego. Then we used our problem solving skills to design and build our own bridge that could hold a cup of marbles. #antoSTEM

This week we were learning how a boat floats. We created boats using plasticine and tested them to see how well they would float. We had to use our problem solving skills to modify our boats to hold more marbles. #antoSTEM

We started our new topic in maths,time. We played some games to help us learn how to tell time #antomaths
