So I’m watching a “capabilities” video from some random PCB manufacturer in China on Alibaba and see this flash by on screen— I *thought* that looked like a Genesis cartridge PCB! @arcadetv

X-ray of non-working Chinese fake 6502 die in center compared to eight legit chips. (I had always assumed they would have done a die shrink on the 6502 given the popularity-- nope! Best I can tell all licensees and date codes are the same size as measured to the bond pads.)

Finally got around to trying out some highly suspicious "1st week 2019" date code 6502 processors purchased from UTSource. Yeah. Didn't work.
