Humanoid robots have already arrived in the UAE. At Dubai’s Museum of the Future, visitors can meet a humanoid. Dubai Future Labs says the aim is to build familiarity with robots. Distributor Ednex said in 2025 that 100+ humanoids have been sold to UAE universities for research. And Abu Dhabi has announced a joint AI and robotics lab, with work planned on humanoid technology and physical AI. Dubai’s robotics programme named five sectors where it wants robots at work: manufacturing, consumer services and tourism, healthcare, connected mobility and logistics, and extreme environments. It also aims for robotics and automation to reach 9% of the emirate’s GDP by 2032. If you’re building in robotics and want to reach this market, #BlockDownDubai 🇦🇪 is your way in.
