Brent Friedman says he was a neighbor of former Secretary of Energy John Herrington and that, as an 18-year-old, he was asked to drive Herrington's cars (plus his pet) across the country after he'd taken a job in the Reagan Administration. Friedman says that Herrington told him (in the summer of 1981) he'd been briefed at an underground facility in West Virginia and that aliens were real, that he'd seen them, and he "cried himself to sleep" at night after he'd been briefed.

Jesse Michels gave John Herrington every opportunity to tell his story and be taken seriously. For 32 years, I've felt in my bones that Brent was laying out the story exactly as it happened. He's never wavered in his telling, nor have the essential details changed. Herrington, however, seems to have evolved his story literally before my eyes.
