We choose what we get in life.
We may not always realize we have this power or assume that conscious choice, but that does not exclude it from being there.
I'd rather put this out there and be completely wrong about it, fall flat on my face, fail and look like an idiot in the eyes of the peanut gallery... than not put it out there and never even try making the choice.
That's what I've been doing up to this point in my life, dipping my toes here and there, and I'm done with it.
All in.
Sauna
I'm already in the hotbox ~5 days a week (slight interruption with newborn) and posting content from there Instagram. My rule with this is simple:
just have fun.
If I don't make content, you know I'm not having fun with it anymore. It's that simple.
I post from in the sauna on instagram: instagram.com/evanmeetsroad/
Good one I heard recently:
You’ll never feel ready. Because ready is not a feeling. It’s a decision.
If you keep waiting for the perfect time, you’ll be waiting forever.
I spend ZERO time on things that don't excite me.
This is where the list actually gets hard. I've spent a lot of time and energy on projects I just don't give two shits about. That ends in 2027.
The energy drain is 100x worse than any gain I get by participating.
Done.
I know that everything is working out in my favor, and all of the above will come to pass.
I know that everything is working out in my favor, and all of the above will come to pass.
I know that everything is working out in my favor, and all of the above will come to pass.
Say it with me. Program it. Be ruthless about it. We have the CHOICE. So USE IT.
The kingdom of Heaven is within you.

When you wake up, the worst thing you can do is check your phone
Instead spend the 1st hour of your day soaking in all the heavenly glory
Use that time to journal, manifest & visualize
Feel the power of who you are & the beautiful future coming your way
Use your pen to write the story of your life
In a village by the sea

Quite possibly the most important trait you can develop is not caring what people think
This is the advice that helped me:
Thinking vs feeling
Analyzing vs sensing
Intellectual vs intuitive
Knowledge vs wisdom
Learned vs absorbed
University vs experience
Reading about it vs doing
Deciding vs recognizing
Head vs gut
Logic vs intuition
Doing vs being
Force vs flow
Make it happen vs let it happen
Don’t get stuck on the left. Use both.

You shy away from the “bad” things in life as if the bad things are going to break you. Maybe you should let them. Maybe you need a wake up call. Maybe you need to change and this is the only way.
The pain the heartbreak the betrayal the loss. We’re scared of getting hurt we’re scared of acting the fool we’re scared of failing we’re scared of losing people we’re scared in general.
But here’s the thing about the “bad” things - they end up becoming the best things, if you let them. You become better because of it, if you choose to. You’ve got to hurt a little. Feel the pain. Let it break you. Let it change you.
Remember you’re not alone in your hurt in your suffering in your humanness.
You’re not alone.
But at a certain point you’ve got to choose. Do you want to be a victim of your life or an active participant in it? Every day you choose. And you can be magic, if you want to be. Use the bad and turn it to good. That is the fight.
Nearly three years ago, I said on a podcast that I thought business plans were counterproductive.
But I think what I was on to is actually bigger than that.
We have all been taught some version of this path:
Get good grades.
Go to college.
Get a good job.
Climb the ladder.
Make money.
Retire.
But I think you can feel that this is breaking apart in real time now.
But what's the alternative? Just find the "right" path that still works, and follow that?
Things are moving too fast to think like that anymore.
Five years ago, software devs were some of the highest paid talent on the market. Today, entry-level jobs in software have all but vanished.
Planning 5-20 years out is not going to work the same way it did for our parents. Whether you're planning for a career or a business.
That sounds scary. But it's actually good news (I promise). You don't need the whole road mapped out anymore.
Here's what I'm doing now:
Getting clear about where I want to be. Not a dollar amount, but more of a state of mind. I don't attach a timeline to it. I consider:
The feelings I'll have while I'm going about a typical day.
How I'll react to events in my life.
Who I'm surrounded by.
The activities I'll do.
Then instead of planning a whole road to that end state, I'm simply keeping that in mind now, when I'm:
1. making decisions.
2. reacting to events.
3. choosing paths that are presented to me.
Without a plan, but with a clear vision for where I want to end up, I trust my intuition's response to life. It acts like a compass. I can adjust my path on the fly as I move toward my end goal.
Because no plan will survive contact with reality for long nowadays.
What are you doing to adapt?
Is our lived, experienced consciousness just a cross-section of our full being, a 3rd dimensional representation of something far larger and more complex?

WELCOME TO NINEFOLD.
Culture moves markets. But it starts with people.
What they care about. What they trust. What they want to be part of.
In a world where almost anything can be generated, taste and judgment matter more:
what deserves to exist and how it earns a place in people’s lives.
