I asked a founder I deeply admire to share lessons with an early stage portfolio company. After hours chatting, his only advice: don’t be fast, be the fastest.
Applies to almost everything - load pages faster, ship faster, launch faster, hire/fire faster, iterate faster. If you aren’t the fastest, someone else is ahead. Speed is the first moat.
