Got spend some time in the gym with Kentucky’s Koby Brea this weekend. The 6’7” wing is arguably the best shooter in the 2025 NBA Draft, knocking down 43.5% of his career 730 attempts. Kahmare Holmes Raw Scouting Notes 🗒️ Team: DePaul Draft Age: 21.5 Position: Guard/Wing Listed Height & Weight: 6’3” 210lbs SHOOTING • Balanced base with feet square to hoop with right foot ahead of left •Doesn’t get much elevation–can be prone to generating power from upper body when tired leading to streakiness •Overhead release •Looks like a fairly palmy ball that leads to hard misses •Decent arch SELF-CREATION ••Creative handle to create separation on the perimeter and quick twitch first step burst to create advantages downhill •Likes to use change of pace to throw off defenders cadence •Three level shot taker •Comes tight off ball screens and likes to pull-up in the midrange when a big is in a  deep drop •When a defender can stay attached, he is strong enough to keep them on his hip, snake the screen, and stay patient to get to his spot •Likes to use the Rondo two foot plant in the paint into the low one-handed ball fake into a pivot OFF-BALL CREATION ••98th percentile cutter per Synergy •Does a good job sneaking behind the help on drives to free himself up at the rim PLAYMAKING •Not a manipulative passer but shows strong passing flashes taking advantage of created advantages: kickouts/drop-offs when defense shifts/collapses FINISHING ••Super physical downhill driver who absorbs contact and draws FTs at a high rate (49.4Ftr) •61.3% at rim overall •59.5% at rim in half-court on 123 attempts •8 dunks overall, 1 half-court dunk •Will counter with a floater when he can’t get all the way to the rim •Pretty right hand dominant in traffic ON-BALL DEFENSE •Strong lateral mover with great balance who can flip his hips seamlessly and stick on quick shifty guards •Strong frame and length can really overwhelm ballhandelrs when he applies hard pressure •Strong frame allows him to guard up: Got the Keyshawn Hall/Elyjah Freeman assignment vs Auburn •Quick hands on swipe-downs if a ball handler leaves it out in front OFF-BALL DEFENSE ••Covers a lot of ground showing the ability to dig to the paint and recover back out to shooters where he can use his length to get a strong contest on a close-out •Can overhelp at times and while he can cover ground he can be a touch late to  closeout on recovery MISC. •Does a good job reading ball off the rim and using length and timing to go after rebounds •Wofford would sometimes use him as a guard-to-guard screener
