We need a term for when you are proven correct about a stance you have taken for a while and then everyone gets mad at YOU like you did something wrong. They are mad at you because you were right from the start. What is that?

He is 100% correct. It is not our responsibility as consumers (or especially through government intervention) to ‘save’ existing companies. This is business, if you want to survive, make a product people will pay you for.
