Nurses show up for us every single day. The work they do is critical and I will always fight for every nurse’s right to organize, bargain collectively, and advocate for their patients without fear of retaliation.
The IDF detained congressional candidate Lander and his group simply for being part of the olive harvest in the West Bank. Instead of protecting Palestinians from the violent marauding Israeli settler groups, this is how they operate. It’s unacceptable.

I stand with Chicagoland’s Hindu community after last weekend's thwarted attack on the temple in Aurora. Thank you to law enforcement and neighbors who intervened. Violence and hate against Indian Americans is unacceptable, and it's on all of us to speak out and stop it.
My heart hurts for the victims, loved ones and people of Oregon. No family, no community, no country should have to face this trauma.

Today we mourn those killed during the horrific October 7 attacks and all those killed since in Israel and Palestine.
There can be no progress toward justice or peace if we fail to recognize the killing of civilians anywhere. My commitment continues to be to a future where both Israelis and Palestinians live in peace, security, and the dignity of self-determination.

What happened in Evanston last month wasn't isolated. Trump’s federal agents have arrested, detained, and violated the Constitutional rights of hundreds of American citizens. Congress must hold the Trump administration accountable.

Trump spent $20 million of DHS funds — the same department that has terrorized our communities — to air campaign ads about himself. While we struggle to afford groceries and housing, he's using our tax dollars to feed his ego. That’s corruption. And it’s exactly why we need to win.
