Lovely to see friends @RestaurantShow yesterday and to chair this panel about social media in hospitality.
Huge congratulations to Steve Munkley
We’ve got some fantastic news to share with you. Tonight Steve Munkley has won the Education & Training Award at #Cateys2023 for all his work on the Graduate Awards. His dedication over the last 21 years has helped many young chefs to develop their culinary skills. @Caterertweets

There’s one week left for chefs to send entries for National Chef of the Year. Whatever stage of the competition you get to it can help you open doors and get your name into the spotlight. You have until midnight on 22nd May to hit submit on entry bit.ly/NCOTY2023 #NCOTY
I’m excited to be on this trip too! Thank you @Craft_Guild @Grande_Cuisine
Over the next two days we are going to be bringing you updates from the @Grande_Cuisine prize trip in Lyon. It includes #CGCGradAwards Highest Achievers and #YNCOTY winners. Here’s the group at the airport ready for a day of activities.
Aww the #Cateys always make me think of Dad too x
I'm sat with a coffee, running through the @Caterertweets #Cateys Accessibility Award dossier, and I'm thinking about my friend Arnold Fewell, with whom I established this category.

Had a lovely time @Fortnums today and really enjoyed catching up with everyone involved in National Chef of the Year. Looking forward to another exciting year #NCOTY #YNCOTY
Went to a wonderful event last night with Andy Aston and the @Craft_Guild all about mood, food and wellness. Highly recommend going along to the next one :-)
Lovely to see these two yesterday 😃
The Graduate Awards wouldn’t be what they are today without these two chefs who strive to make sure #CGCGradAwards remain current and engaging for young chefs.

As we celebrated 50 years of #NCOTY on Monday night it was amazing to welcome back many former winners to the event. One of those was @GordonRamsay who won the competition in 1992. He spoke to us after the awards and revealed what winning this title meant to him.

Ray Bradbury’s advice for being more creative
Every night read:
- one short story
- one poem
- one essay
Do that for a thousand nights and you’ll be stuffed full of ideas

Back from another trip away … this time to Northampton for two workshops. Branding first, then how to nurture your creativity (psychology and science based). Really enjoyed both.
I’m back in London today to speak @GardenCCatering Forum. My topic of the day is the ‘Psychology behind brand storytelling’ – at City of London, London
