Every system that crushed people relied on one thing first, silence. The fight only looks dangerous when you forget what surrender costs.

The concept of packing a wound is always foreign to those who haven't trained for it. It makes a lot of sense once you have played with a wound cavity *hopefully simulated first*. You get an idea of how to fill one quick. That will be my gift to one of you. I have some spare trainers that I use to replace torn up ones. When I have finished my current GAW I will do a quick one for a simulated wound and gauze for someone to have to train with. How's that sound?

We just dropped an all new T.REX ARMS project. 4,200 military manuals, stored as PDFs and EPUBs, all downloadable for free, readable and searchable on the site, with all references indexed and tracable.

While I generally have an issue with pointless laws or government regulations, there is a very valid reason that I could never fully buy into the libertarian arguments, especially when it comes to public lands.
We definitely need smaller government and lower taxes. I’m mostly a “mind your own business” type of guy.
As far as public lands go, I just can’t get on board with the “let the free market decide” approach because it simply leads to people like @BasedMikeLee and now others that will follow him trying to sell off our common heritage and the rich monopolizing everything. A little government, it turns out, isn’t all that bad (in some areas).
In many areas the US Government is bloated and needs slashed. Some functions are actually more beneficial than you might expect.
As this episode covers, it’s also a pattern that people use protections (like patents & environmental regulations) to rise in society and then want them eradicated when they are no longer personally beneficial. I’m for limited government, but not zero rules. Pay close attention to the story of Anthony Bourdain when he went to Lagos at 30:45 into the episode if you get that far. That’s how AnCap really works. It sucks.
I’d invite to give the first 30+ minutes of this episode a listen if you don’t understand what I mean.
@MeatEaterTV and @Sagebrush_Inst / @braxton_mccoy are really 100% correct on this.

Reading good books teaches you things that scrolling never will.
— Patience to follow a long argument
— Concentration to study difficult ideas
— Vocabulary to express yourself clearly
— Historical knowledge to understand the present
— Judgment to recognize weak arguments
— Curiosity to keep learning
None of these skills develops overnight.
They come from spending years reading, thinking, and returning to books that challenge you.
There is no shortcut to becoming well-read.

You should read books that are:
— Older than you
— More difficult than you are used to
— Written by people you disagree with
— Outside your usual interests
— Important enough to reread
— Uncomfortable to think about
Reading should not always be easy.
Sometimes the books that require the most effort are the ones that change how you think.
If you only read things you already understand and agree with, you are not learning very much.

Putting A2 furniture on an A1 build is not only badass, it's what Paul Harrell used to do!
We also happen to sell all those parts.
When y'all get a chance this weekend, take yourself and family outside. Put down your phones, tablets, or step away from the computer. A little outdoor time refreshes the body and mind.

Basics on sharpening an axe or hatchet.
° Lock the axe in place. A vice is best.
° Start with a file.
° Finish with a stone in a circular pattern.
Aim for about a 45° angle (where the sharp edge is). A thin edge is more likely to get damaged with use. Don’t expect literal razor sharpness. A sharp axe will cut you, but it’s not intended to be a scalpel.
If it’s an antique market find and really in rough shape, you can get away with an angle grinder and a sandpaper flap disk to get started. Be cautious not to do too much at once though, because if the blade gets too hot, it can destroy the temper of the bit (the hard cutting edge).
A leather glove is a good idea for safety while using the file. I’m kinda dumb, but have an excellent first aid kit.🤣

Disarmament is how tyranny gets started—not how safety gets finished.
Noah Webster wrote it while the Constitution was still being debated:
"Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States."
— Noah Webster, An Examination into the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution (1787)
An unarmed people don't get to argue. They get ruled.

andrew_p308 on insta shows how he makes DIY pistol barrels using a $500 Amazon lathe, Harbor Freight press ($169 for the manual ones) and common tooling.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: there's better metalworking tools available on Amazon right now than there were during WWII, when we were cranking out machineguns by the millions. The only thing stopping people is existing market availability & lack of perceived need. The gun control movement is dead, it's just staggering around and hasn't fallen over yet.

Thank you, Sergeant Major Mike Vining (@BlastingThrough), for agreeing to join Binding Vets.
Once Blasting Through is officially published, he’ll be with us tentatively sometime this winter or spring.
It’s OFFICIAL.
BLASTING THROUGH eBook is up for Pre-Order on Amazon.
I have not received clearance from the official Pentagon security review process. So, I’m using May 1, 2027, as a safety net to give the reviewers ample time.
This means that the latest you’ll receive the eBook Kindle version is on May 1st, but you are likely to receive it much sooner.
If I get clearance earlier – be it January, February, or March, Amazon will automatically surprise you by dropping “Blasting Through” straight onto your Kindle or device the exact day the book goes live.
But now’s the time to pre order it because we’ve discounted the eBook. It’s $7.99. The price will go up to $10.99 the day after the official release, be it on May 1 or much earlier, depending on Pentagon clearance.
Thank you for all your support. I will be offering a paperback, audiobook, and hardcover. Look for announcements for these formats later. Hint – the announcement will be coming from a person who will be interviewing me when the time is right.
Please note: Amazon does not charge you until the eBook has been officially released. So, if you want a digital version of “Blasting Through,” order now by using the link here.

There are other techniques, but this one is pretty reliable and simple.
