FINAL: SCSU 2 | ASU 1
Another hard fought goaltending battle, this time the Huskies come out on top. Sun Devils caught a case of the hot goalie as Yan Shostak stopped 41 of 42 shots faced. Hillebrandt was solid in his own right, stopping 23 of 25 shots.
The Sun Devils will return home next weekend to face the defending national champion Denver Pioneers. Games will be on Friday night and Sunday afternoon, avoiding the conflict with football hosting Colorado.

END 2: SCSU 2 | ASU 1
Just like Friday night, a very evenly played middle 20 between these two teams. Only difference, Sun Devils chasing a goal heading to the final frame.

With his assist on Baran's goal in the first period, Jonas Woo has tied Josh Doan's program record for assist streak by a freshman. Woo has registered 6 assists over the last 5 games.

Landon Hafele had a goal on the board after a great play in transition, but a St. Cloud State challenge for offside takes it off the board.

END 1: SCSU 2 | ASU 1
SCSU: Hayden Paupanekis (2), assisted by Jake Southgate and Carson Pilgrim (0:14)
William Ahlrik (2), assisted by Garrett Frazer and Charlie Lurie (4:31)
ASU: Richard Baran (2), from Jonas Woo and Michael Barron (19:10)
St. Cloud came out firing and set the tone early, but the Sun Devils played their signature grinding game, ultimately outshooting the Huskies 16-9 in the frame and getting that critical goal in the final minute of the period.

FINAL: BYU 27 | ASU 20
No last second magic like the 2024 matchup in Tempe, as Bachmeier's pass on 4th down floated just long enough for the clock to run out.
No room in the win-loss record for moral victories, but this is as close as they come. Credit to the Sun Devils for grinding through the second half to cover the spread (and the predictions from our panelists).
Arizona State falls to 4-4 (2-3 Big 12), and will host Colorado next Saturday at 5:30pm Arizona Time.

A quick 42 yards in three plays, Fette finding Cardae Mack and Raiden Vines-Bright to move the ball to the BYU 33.

That's a great trick play design from Jack Nudo. Obviously he didn't draw it up for Hamilton to fumble twice
Poor execution of a good, well-timed play call

Sione Moa with the 1 yard touchdown run, and that will all but put to rest any hopes of an upset for the Sun Devils. The dagger came on a 53 yard pass from Bachmeier to Legend Glasker. The 95 yard scoring drive took 6:00 off the clock, and is BYU's longest scoring drive by yardage this season.
