Been putting off reading this book for years. Even so I didn't expect it to so immediately annoy my by making the outrageous claim that *all* engineers and entrepreneurs value difference.

A privilege to speak at the event to switch on these lights yesterday evening. I am not famed for my wholesome approach but anyone can see that this project was special.
Cardiff’s Canal Quarter has twinkled into life with Christmas lights designed by local primary school pupils! Over 120 students from @StCuthbertsPrm explored Cardiff’s heritage & created festive displays. @CdfCuric @ChildFriendlyC1 @CdfCommitment

Just opened Chrome and then typed 'google' into the search bar. Good lord.

GWR's stakeholder survey wants to know if they are 'on the right track' or 'going off the rails' and honestly I can't cope with this on a Friday afternoon.

Ah yes, time for @Spotify 's annual 'there's still time to prevent your wrapped making you look totally deranged' notification. Thanks lads but as ever I will choose to ignore.

Ruined my Friday with the rookie error of reading the comments on a post about a parking consultation.

Roath & Cathays running question: where can I fit in some strides/sprints that isn't a deathtrap on autumn and winter evenings? Somewhere not covered in leaves, even surface so I don't trip in the dark, and not constant road crossings because I don't fancy being hit by a car.

It's only a matter of time until I walk into a lamppost because everywhere I go I've got my eyes peeled looking for a Member of the Public carrying one of our cups ☕️

Last night I thought 'I should really repaint my nails for a photo when the @Refill return cup goes live.' I didn't do that but the cup is live all the same. This coffee is from @PettigrewTea - loads of other indie biz also participating. Well done @FOR_Cardiff team 👏☕️

Weird to be furious over something so innocuous but I've checked with my Southern (English) boyfriend and he says one and sun don't really rhyme but they are close enough that he could guess, justice for everyone without a foot/strut split. #OnlyConnect

Thinking about when I read NME and the Gallagher brothers were quoted as saying 'fook' and I didn't understand what that meant because I say Us like they do. Sounds pointless but these things do matter.

Just remembered how my dad bought this pastry brush for me in Tesco as part of my 'kitchen things for uni shop'. Will now probably think of that every time I use a pastry brush until the day I die.

I have immediately interpreted Anna and Clara as early 20th century lesbians obscuring their relationship from society and I doubt I will be the only one. Love that narrative for the British high street.
Replying to @soult
If you've seen previous posts by me, you'll know that Søstrene Grene - with instore storytelling built around the fictional sisters Anna and Clara - is opening some of the most beautiful shops on British high streets just now, truly making a virtue of bricks and mortar spaces.

Something that I just can't understand is people who could be swayed between Trump and Harris. Who on earth are these people that could go either way!??!

My phone tells me it is 2 years since me and @MissHayleyAnneC went to Liverpool. Me being me these are apparently the photos I took, no idea what I was even aiming for with the second one...

Felt cold running in the heat. Googled it because this will have happened to loads of other human people and the internet is full of proper running advice. Search took *ages* and then generative AI told me that I might get cold if the temperature is low. GEE THANKS.

Apparently you can't turn this feature off either, which means you might as well be setting fire to 17 trees when you Google a question that will be easily answered by the first result that pops up 👍
