Great to see democrats win last night with a broad range of candidates. They should however see this interview as a red flag against one of their incumbent senators.
Michigan's Democratic candidate for Senate Abdul El-Sayed confronted @jamesmatthewsky, telling him he wouldn't answer his questions as he wants "zero" votes in the UK.
Watch the heated exchange between the two.

Govt intent to join EU (non UN) enforcement mission to Disarm Hezbollah -while Israel ethnically cleansing Sth Lebanon -Has potential to be mass casualty event & de facto end to our policy of Military Neutrality by active involvement in Lebanese Civil War on side backed by Israel
There is very few Irish people in that want us joining an EU military mission. Removing the triple lock is the most undemocratic decision I can remember
This might be the worst policy I’ve ever heard .
Assistant Garda Commissioner Denis Ferry said "all pedestrians" including in urban areas should wear high visibility clothing.

Intelligence must draw on memory. The mind must not simply compile data — as an algorithm now does more quickly than we can — but recall lived experiences, which contain depths of meaning that only the human soul can recognize, and connect more deeply with the goodness of these experiences. Everything that is good begins “with the Spirit” and thus possesses a breath, a dynamism and a sense of communion that, once experienced, are engraved upon the heart. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

In an age dominated by technology, in which efficiency and profit often take precedence, it is so important that we continue to cultivate a spirit of contemplation and allow time and space for beauty. Such an attitude will greatly help humanity, especially young people, to discover the ability of art to uplift and reveal the depths of the human spirit and our openness to the divine. Contemplation presents a marvelous opportunity to encounter the God who is Beauty.
If UEFA believe the question was politically motivated they should go further and defend the Irish player that was falsely accused of racism.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Well done to Ireland goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu for taking the principled decision to withdraw from the game against Israel.
He should never have been put in this position, but he has shown immense moral courage and integrity by doing the right thing in the face of genocide.
