My theory is that the ETNA upgrades that squashed the security requirement of 2000 $AVAX per validator to 1.3 has had a big hand in the poor price action of the token. This was the trade off for BD to be able to onboard businesses to launch their own L1 for dirt cheap. This paired with no clear direction on how to accrue value back the token (every chain has this problem). Honestly if felt rushed and not well thought out.
The good news is that all of this being addressed in short order. Stay tuned. 🔺

I’m honestly baffled by Avalanche’s price action, and that’s why I’m writing this.
Let’s talk about the relationship between RWA and Avalanche. 🔺
RWA capital flowing into Avalanche DOES NOT mean institutions are buying avalanche-2:native!
They could be using Avalanche’s C-Chain to hold their tokenized assets without buying a single AVAX token.
avalanche-2:native itself is NOT the RWA. The network is simply being used to host those assets.
Think of it this way: it’s like holding USDT in MetaMask. You’re holding an asset on a network, but that doesn’t mean you’re investing in ETH.
RWA is simply another type of asset being held on-chain.
So, Avalanche is an RWA leader? Really?
If RWA adoption is supposed to create value for avalanche-2:native, there needs to be meaningful on-chain activity that generates demand for the token.
Assets simply sitting on the C-Chain don’t automatically create buying pressure for avalanche-2:native.
Locked capital is just money sitting in a bank vault. TVL growth alone doesn’t guarantee token value.
Stop confusing institutional adoption of the NETWORK with institutional investment in the TOKEN.
