Ever wondered what a retrofitted home looks like in real life? As part of the East Midlands Festival of Retrofit visit a "Carlton Hill Family House", where you'll have the opportunity to see retrofit measures first-hand and hear directly from those who have made improvements to their homes. This solid brick house, built 110 years ago, has had a series of energy improvements over the last 20 years including double glazing, solar PV with battery, external and internal wall insulation, while maintaining many of the original features of the house. The owners also monitored energy use and air quality to demonstrate the benefits of the retrofit improvements. Date: Saturday 7th November Time: from 11am Location: 1 Mayfield Road, Carlton, NG4 1JP #EMCCA #FestivalofRetrofit
