Meet Glow, the protocol building clean energy infrastructure with crypto incentives.
Inspired by Bitcoin, which turned token rewards into a global network of mining machines.
Glow saw this and asked, "What if we pointed that same engine at solar farms instead?"

. @GlowFND 's original model leaned heavily on selling carbon credits and that side of the market hasn't delivered.
The project is sitting on carbon credits reportedly worth 2-3x its market cap and still can't turn them into cash.
CEO David Vorick's take: tokenomics are solid, the business model isn't. So the team's exploring a new direction:
▪️ One proposal on the table: own solar farms directly, so staking could generate real USD cash flow instead of carbon credits
▪️ Less time explaining the mechanism, more time shipping, with progress targeted by end of year
▪️ The network itself keeps growing regardless. In their last weekly update: 132+ solar farms across 11 regions, 44,240 panels, and embedded liquidity sitting at roughly 19% of GLW's market cap
Watching how a team handles the hard moments tells you more than any roadmap ever could imho.
We know, @elonmusk.

“Glow’s goal has always been to disrupt.”
@DavidVorick shares what’s next for Glow as the team doubles down on execution and looks ahead to an optimistic Q4.

Can a company actually reward you for building solar?
@GlowFND is doing exactly that across the US and India by focusing on how much value a solar farm adds to the local grid.

Most token liquidity is fragile. Market makers pull out the moment price drops and holders get stuck.
@GlowFND 's embedded liquidity pool works differently. Protocol-owned, permanent, never withdrawn.
▪️ Real, non-zero price floor, at low enough prices, the pool would buy every remaining token in existence
▪️ As price rises, liquidity available to holders actually increases
▪️ Market cap moves super-linearly with price, structurally less reflexive than most tokens
If someone genuinely needs to convert GLW into real money, they can, without needing to crash the price just to get out.
Found this older breakdown from the team explaining the full mechanic, still one of the clearest explanations of how it works👇
