From @hfxgov: In addition to the Province's wooded area restrictions, the municipality is closing wooded areas of municipal parks and all municipal trails as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31. Parks such as Shubie Park, Point Pleasant Park and Admiral Cove Park will be fully closed.

A video taken seconds before they left, and his message about getting out just in time. 🥺
There wasn’t an evac notice for that area at the time. The fire moved SO quickly.
