Before sustaining a brain injury, CO client Dave loved going to the gym. With the support and encouragement of his support worker, Dave has been able to get back into the gym and rediscover something he really enjoys. Keep up the fantastic work Dave!

Community Outreach client Chantelle recently bought herself a jigsaw puzzle and decided to get it started. Chantelle really enjoyed piecing the puzzle together and found it was a great way to practise her concentration and keep her brain active. #NewHobby

Throwback to the summer and what Community Outreach client Paul & his Outreach Worker Jon called their 'gardening partnership'! Paul directed the planting & Jon did the spadework (trowel work)! Paul always says being outside in his garden is his best medicine. #braininjurysupport

Leighton House clients have made a delicious potato salad using potatoes they grew and recently harvested themselves! It is fantastic to see our clients taking their gardening skills into the kitchen, learning new skills, following steps, and working together.

Yay! We had another winner at the weekend in the Birmingham Community Lottery. They won and so did we, especially as they donated their winnings straight back to us. Have a go... there are great prizes to be won! birminghamcommunitylottery.c… @BVSC

Community Outreach client Lee enjoyed getting out into the community with support from Johnathon to complete his weekly shopping. Then, after getting the shopping done, it was time for a well-deserved coffee and a chance to relax and enjoy a chat. #BrainInjury

Meet little Frank, our four-legged friend! Frank belongs to one of our clients who is currently in hospital. While his owner is receiving care, Frank has been staying with his support worker, where he's certainly making himself at home. 🏠🐾 #BrainInjury #CommunitySupport

Clients learnt about some of the chemicals in our brains that influence how we feel, think and respond to everyday life. Understanding how these chemicals work can help us recognise the factors that influence our emotions and discover positive ways to support our mental health.
