Coming October 14th 2026 (Press release translated from original Japanese) TMG, the super rock group led by Tak Matsumoto, has announced the release of its eagerly awaited new album! Ado appears as the featured vocalist on the title track, Sayonara! Originally formed in 2004, TMG reunited in 2024 after a 20 year absence and has come together once again in 2026. The new album brings together leading Japanese and American musicians who have built distinguished careers on the international rock scene: Tak Matsumoto (Guitar / B’z), Jack Blades (Bass And Vocals / Night Ranger), Eric Martin (Vocals / MR.BIG) and Matt Sorum (Drums / Formerly Of Guns N’ Roses). Ado, who has developed a close relationship with Matsumoto through their live performances and previous collaboration on her 2023 song Dignity, composed by Matsumoto, delivers a commanding featured vocal on Sayonara. The album contains six tracks, including TMG’s cover of the Beatles classic While My Guitar Gently Weeps; Doom, an instrumental written as the theme song for the film Village Of Eight Gravestones, opening September 18; and I Don’t See Me In Your Eyes, which showcases the refined depth of musicians who have created countless exceptional melodies throughout their careers. With a new album that reveals the meaning behind Sayonara, the title of the nationwide tour announced alongside their 2026 reunion, TMG is ready to ignite audiences once again with its exceptional musicianship and rock spirit.
