Your AI thesis can be right and your token can still be wrong. This part of Luke's interview stood out to me. Dolphin's foundation has no shareholders or separate equity layer. Its model routes inference revenue back into base:0xed664536023d8e4b1640c394777d34abaff1df8f through buybacks, while GPU providers earn POD for doing the work. I watched the full interview again, and I like how Luke comes across. He seems genuinely excited about what they're building and focused on both the product and the community. Avoiding a separate equity layer matters to me. I want the token to participate in the business they're building. The rest of the interview gives more context for why I'm still bullish. They're working on several pieces together: running useful models on idle consumer GPUs, verifying that operators actually run the right models, and building tools that give people a reason to use the network. Luke says inference verification took most of the team's effort over the six months before the interview. Flipper makes a lot of sense to me here. As Luke describes it, you can connect your existing ChatGPT subscription, let Astra handle planning and harder reasoning, and send smaller, clearly defined tasks to cheaper models like DeepSeek. That means even people already paying for ChatGPT could get more done before hitting their subscription limits. You keep the stronger model where you need it, without spending its allowance on every small task. Flipper manages that split for you. Open-source models are getting more capable, but being good and cheap isn't enough if people don't know where to use them. This gives them a practical way to try them within their existing workflow. Luke also points out how generous subsidized AI subscriptions can be. If those allowances shrink, the cost advantage of cheaper inference could become much more compelling. Buybacks still need paying users behind them. But seeing the team work on the infrastructure, verification and actual use cases together makes me more confident in the direction. The project is developing at its own pace, and I like what I'm seeing. Still bullish on base:0xed664536023d8e4b1640c394777d34abaff1df8f. Disclosure: I hold base:0xed664536023d8e4b1640c394777d34abaff1df8f.

Being wrong on Twitter costs nothing. @morganlai, founder of @arespro, wants to change that. Her thesis: prediction markets make opinions worth listening to when there’s money behind them. Tie every post to a trade. Are you willing to back an opinion? And will you be right?

Japan just started unleashing packs of Unitree robot Akita dogs to chase off bears > last year was Japan's worst bear year on record. 13 people killed! > northern Japan got so overwhelmed they even had to call in the military > so to combat the problem, they've dressed up Unitree Go2 robot dogs as Akitas (the breed Japan's old Matagi bear hunters took into the mountains) > the Akita robot dogs patrol the strip of land between town and forest on their own > AI cameras and infrared sensors in their chests pick up the locations of the bears > when one finds a bear it chases after it, barks, growls and blasts it with bear spray > then it radios the rest of the pack so they can gang up on the bear together lmao > they also ping the town so locals know to stay inside > this comes after a company in Hokkaido already sold 380+ robot wolves that do the same job on farms! this is the kind of job i'm very happy to see robots take over
