TODAY'S NOTABLE EXHIBITION GAMES: Nebraska/Kansas State Penn State at Drexel

Only 6 days until the 2026-27 college basketball season officially begins…..#countdown

“Comparison is the thief of joy.” - Theodore Roosevelt

“The action is the juice.” - Tom Sizemore as Michael Cheritto in Heat, circa 1995

"Every day is a gift." - Art Loveley

"Stay hungry, Stay humble"

Randy Bennett at Arizona State feels like it's essentially a sequel to his blueprint at Saint Mary's. Kind of similar to how The Lost World was based on Isla Sorna while Jurassic Park took place on Isla Nublar. Sun Devils put up 91 in a five-point win at New Mexico.

Things you didn't think you'd tweet: Michigan State loses back-to-back exhibition games, with today's loss coming against Marquette. One important note: Tom Izzo switched his starting lineup, moving Jesse McCulloch to C and Coen Carr to PF. Jasiah Jervis in for Anton Bonke.

So much Marcus Williams (UConn) in Quinn Ellis....

Patrick Ngongba has All-American potential in 2026-27. A dominant 28-point, 10-rebound performance as Duke beats Kansas in Lawerence without Trey Kaufman-Renn. Blue Devils put up 90 at the Phog. 28, 8, and 7 for Tyran Stokes in defeat.

Quinn Ellis in St. John's last two exhibition games: 90 minutes played, 16 assists, 1 turnover.

Texas' guard play remains a major question. Longhorns tallied just 12 assists to 16 turnovers today at MSG.

What a difference a week makes for St. John's. Red Storm control things from tip to finish against Texas in a 13-point victory. Keyshawn Hall, Ian Jackson, and Tounde Yessoufou combine for 65 in the win.
