More than 200 homes have been completed for WNC families through our state’s housing recovery program, Renew NC, as this important work continues. Working alongside nonprofit partners who are putting state dollars to work repair and rebuild homes, 1,500 families are back at home.

What a night! We won the majority in the state house and are close in the state senate. It’s all about restoring balance and common sense to the General Assembly.
I congratulate Speaker-elect Reives and Leader Batch on their impressive success. I look forward to working with them, their caucuses, and the Republicans in the General Assembly to deliver for North Carolina, lowering costs and investing in people.
We also won all three court of appeals judgeships, re-elected Justice Anita Earls to the North Carolina Supreme Court, have a new congressional delegation to the U.S. House, and are sending Roy Cooper to the U.S. Senate!
To all of you who donated your time or money, who encouraged your friends, family, and neighbors to vote, and who voted yourself - thank you!
You chose leaders who are committed to serving you, not the corrupt. Thank you for making your voices heard. Now let’s get to work.

Last week, RenewNC, the state’s housing recovery program, crossed 200 homes completed.
Together with the homes repaired and rebuilt by our nonprofit partners with state support, 1,500 families are back in their homes after Hurricane Helene. I am proud of how far we have come, but there’s so much more work ahead of us to make sure western North Carolinians can come back to a safe and secure home.
