BREAKING: A Democratic lawmaker wants banning artificial superintelligence to be day one of the party's agenda now that they've taken Congress.
The bill already exists. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Greg Casar introduced it in September. It bans developing or deploying superintelligence and pauses advanced AI development entirely.
The penalties: a "corporate death penalty" for companies, and up to 20 YEARS IN PRISON for individuals.
