WA voters across the political spectrum appear to have had it with elected Democrats' shameful laws and policies allowing male athletes to compete in women's sports.
I am so proud of everyone who worked on this and grateful to every WA voter who appears to have gotten it over the line.

Dems who moderated on trans (often insincerely, but nonetheless putting themselves on the record taking sane positions) are running the table while the 6th most Democratic state in America, Washington, has voted to ban men in women's sports.
It was important to depolarize this issue. The moment when the source of the most intense negative polarization, Donald Trump, is likely to go into rapid eclipse is as good time for that to happen as any.
We now know from the Washington results that while most of the party leadership, including its ostensibly moderate figures (such as Josh Shapiro) are full on gender cultists, the rank and file are not.
Now, more than a decade after the launch of this misbegotten crusade, we can finally begin the deliberative process that the movement forbade because it knew that its dogmas could not survive any adversarial scrutiny. We can ask aloud, and also answer, questions like: "Is this true?" "Can it be accommodated at tolerable cost?" "What is a gender identity, anyway?"
At the end of this process, we will discover that the only moderate approach is the refusal of all trans activist demands because all the movement's demands are extreme.
1:15am ET update: Dems have won 21 of 21 races called in which the candidates went against the transgender platform
The latest wins:
Christina Bohannan: IA-1, wins against Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meek
Rep. Henry Cuellar: TX-28, wins against Tano Tijerina
Rep. Tom Suozzi: NY-3, wins against Mike LiPetri
In an October ad Ms. Bohannan said: “As the only one in this race who ran track in high school, it matters to me that girls’ sports are fair,” suggesting that she opposed cross-sex participation in girls and women’s sports.
Mr. Cuellar @CuellarCampaign ast a number of votes for bills that would counter the main tenets of transgender activism, including those that would make it a violation of Title IX for schools receiving federal funds to permit cross-sex participation in girls and women’s sports; the two 2026 Mace amendments; HR 2616; and HR 498, which would bar coverage of gender-transition interventions by Medicaid for minors.
In November 2024, @Tom_Suozzi told The New York Times: “The Democrats have to stop pandering to the far left.” He further said: “I don’t want to discriminate against anybody, but I don’t think biological boys should be playing in girls’ sports.” And then he finally said: “Democrats aren’t saying that, and they should be.” He also voted for the 2025 service-academy amendment.
For all the details of these and other races, see the link in the quote tweet:

Great article from @TERF_Times and yes, let's PLEASE all stop using the word "trans" to refer to human beings. It has no coherent or stable meaning. None.
Replying to @TERF_Times @LouiseGuinness
Yes, let's stop using 'trans,' if any Terven still do. Humans can't be 'trans' -- the 'trans' concept holds in chemistry but not in mammalian biology. I like how Kara Dansky @kdansky never uses 'trans' except in quotes. Let's not use the terminology of the science deniers.
It was a wonderful evening and great work peaking the taxi driver, @KowalskiKit!
Thanks so much to @spinifexpress for everything!

Wonderful evening meeting @KDansky at the launch of her new book TERFlandia from @spinifexpress
Unfortunately the trains had stopped by the time I was heading home, so I had to spring for a cab. Fortunately the driver was pretty receptive to being peak-transed 😇

I think maybe the point is that he doesn’t actually think women should go out of the house so if there are men in womens locker rooms it will keep them at home where they belong. Men have a right to be wherever they’d like, even in a locker room with your daughter undressing.
.@AbdulElSayed says it’s ok for MEN to be in girl’s locker rooms.
Why?
“Well because they are going to find out about it on the internet anyway”
Completely unacceptable.

Amy Hamm, a nurse and single mother, was dragged through a modern-day witch trial for saying that men are not women.
Her profession was a nurse, yet she was called "unprofessional" by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives for understanding biology.
She lost her career overnight and has been ordered to pay $94,000 in costs.
She will be appealing the decision in a little over a week.
I stand with Amy Hamm. ✊🏻

November 10, 12 & 13: The dates of my appeal trial at the BC Supreme Court.
I am appealing a ruling that found me guilty of "unprofessional conduct" for advocating for the rights of women and children in my off-duty time.
My regulator, the BC College of Nurses, investigated me at the behest of a cancellation mob after receiving complaints from members of the public I've never met. I have never had a patient complaint. I was dragged through years of disciplinary hearings, lasting longer than a murder trial. (My fight was made possible by @JCCFCanada and @LDBildy.)
After my guilty verdict, I was told I would face a 1 month suspension and had to pay $94,000 to the BCCNM. My employer of 13 years, Vancouver Coastal Health, fired me with no severance, and no way to even collect EI. I was a single mom with 2 young boys. The suspension and $94k was put on hold for the appeal. My name is blacklisted and I essentially was pushed out of the profession entirely.
I first noticed the rise of gender ideology a decade ago, and I was fascinated and repulsed that women were being told to shut up about their experiences to make way for people who identify as us. Then I came to understand that paediatric "gender affirming care" is a terrible medical scandal, probably worse than the lobotomy. I began to write about the topic and, with another BC woman, began to organize events to discuss gender ideology. We faced vicious threats, protests, and attempts to shut us down. Later, of course, I was involved in a billboard project that drew a lot of ire from trans activists.
Never could I have imagined that life would go in this direction: being smeared as a bigot across the country; losing my career and long-term financial stability; and spending 6+ years in a protracted legal battle.
I'm still fighting because I care about the truth, free speech (for all of us, but especially for regulated professionals, who don't deserve to be policed in their private lives and forced to go along with state orthodoxy), and women's rights. Please follow along for updates.

Goodbye Melbourne (for now). Thanks so much @womensvoicesau!

Today the male Camas cross-country runner secured his spot to state, stealing it from a girl. We can either fight to protect the boy, or fight to protect the girls the spots were created for. We have to choose. Vote YES on 638. Do it for the girls. Do it for common sense.
In this episode, I talk with Dora Moutot, a French feminist who has been convicted of a crime in France for, essentially, acknowledging that sex is real. Bonjour et bienvenue, Dora!

This interview occurred on the day of oral arguments in the Supreme Court matter of West Virginia v. BPJ, which was January 13, 2026.
This is not "BOOM" or something that "just" happened. It's 10 months old.
Accounts like this are extremely annoying.

Morning after the night before which may have included 🥃with TERFlandia: How The Global Terven Will win The Gender Wars author, @KDansky thank you @spinifexpress for bringing Kara to Australia to boost our spirits and share the global guide map to winning said war.
WVA loved helping to organise the book launch in the heart of Melbourne with the generous support of our movement's anonymous benefactor and a sensible pink dollar benefiting venue that knows lesbians are adult human females sexually attracted to adult human females. Pics thanks to that anonymous woman photographer featuring chapter author Angela Jones. As Kara says: "We will win if we can be heard"

You are participating in the erasure of gay history. The Compton Cafeteria Riot was a revolt by marginalized homosexual men. These men who were resisting police brutality were not making claims about being female. They were fighting police harassment for their gender nonconformity & homosexuality. This history has been retconned by a straight heterosexual man, Susan Stryker and you fell for it. (Linked below is an interview I did with a butch lesbian that frequented Compton’s)
The modern trans movement loves to retroactively label any visibly gender-nonconforming person as “transgender.” This results in the erasure of the homosexual context of events like Compton’s. But the people involved did not see themselves as women trapped in men’s bodies. They saw themselves as feminine homosexual men, and they were treated that way by the police and the public.
The collapse of gender nonconformity into trans identity is literally erasing gay history.
