Happy Father’s Day to our awesome admin team @rmsviking! @perryprincipal @coachsal3 @PetschBrian! Relax and enjoy your day!
Day date with hubby @sixstringsfoxborough. Nice to be getting back to some kind of normalcy!

This is spot on. Kids will read books they choose and love.
Make sure school schedules have enough time for daily independent reading of self-selected books. 40-45 minute classes need to adjust to more time. Don’t use a 19th-20th century schedule in 21st century!

What is one thing you will remove from your To Do list this week? I am not removing but continuing to exercise at least 30 minutes a day in order to be healthier and avoid another stroke. @aharhodeisland #StrokeAwarenessMonth #strokewarrior
Too much stress can lead to unhealthy behaviors – like overeating, drinking too much alcohol or smoking – that can raise your blood pressure and up your stroke risk. What’s one thing that you can remove from your to-do list this week to lower your stress? #StrokeMonth

I thought this was interesting.🤔
Likes don’t equal love. Followers won’t make you feel full. Being an ‘edu-celebrity’ has cool perks, but it’s not something worthwhile to shoot for. Fame, in any regard, is hollow, and being “teacher famous” is unbelievably draining and unsatisfying. Just keep loving your kids.
You can change the course of your reaction to stress in just 90 seconds. onebodyinc.com/?p=1091 via @onebodyinc Thank you @ep_sel for bringing this to my attention in your weekly newsletter. Going to work on this in the coming week.

It was a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week that ended with Friday on the lawn at @rmsviking! Thank you to our PTSA and @perryprincipal, @coachsal3, and @PetschBrian. I think Friday on the lawn should be a regular thing.

Please pay attention to any of these signs. @aharhodeisland
Replying to @GoRedForWomen
Women are more likely to have subtle warning signs of stroke, like fatigue, nausea or memory problems. With all the things women have on their to-do lists every day, those symptoms can be easily missed or brushed off.
Pretty happy with this one today! What a difference a year makes! @GoRedForWomen @aharhodeisland #strokesurvivor

One year ago today I survived a deadly blood clot and an ischemic stroke. Don’t ever give up. There is always hope! @GoRedForWomen @aharhodeisland
