Plaid for Government Benefits
@gustaf
Applying for government benefits means proving the same facts again and again across systems that don’t talk to each other. That creates friction for honest applicants and openings for fraud.
Government needs a Plaid-like layer for verified income, tax, and residency data: verify once, apply everywhere. As AI agents begin handling enrollment, trusted data infrastructure becomes even more important.

She is playing chess whilst you are playing checkers…..
Knight was born from a problem our founder, @BennyInHerBag, experienced firsthand.
Despite consistently earning 5 figures across 3 countries through both Web2 + Web3, her financial history wasn't recognized when she returned to her home country.
Even records issued by the same banking institution in another jurisdiction couldn't be readily used to establish her financial standing.
This is an increasingly common challenge for modern earners.
According to the 2026 Branch + Stripe Gig Workforce Index, 46% of surveyed gig workers use three or more platforms to find work.
Income is becoming increasingly distributed across platforms, currencies, and jurisdictions. Yet financial institutions still lack a standardized, interoperable way to interpret this information collectively.
The problem is no longer access to financial data. It's the ability to interpret it across disconnected systems.
Knight is building an AI-native intelligence layer that unifies identity, banking, and on-chain financial activity into explainable institutional reports.
The objective is to support:
✅ More comprehensive creditworthiness assessments
✅ Fewer unnecessary application declines
✅ Better-informed lending decisions
✅ Faster onboarding and underwriting
Financial history should remain intelligible across borders.

As assets move onchain and AI agents enter finance, the next big question is: how will institutions keep up?
Joining Stratford Finance, FinSTEP Asia, and Asia Insight Circle today for The Future of Value in Hong Kong! 🌐
Looking forward to hearing from folks at HSBC, Ant Digital Technologies, and beyond on RWAs, tokenization, and agentic finance.

The CEO of @WeAreOsome, a Singapore-based company, watched this part of my interview and went on to write a thoughtful essay about it.
What struck me was that he'd experienced the very same pain point I was describing.
For context, Osome is somewhat similar to Stripe Atlas, helping entrepreneurs from around the world incorporate and manage their businesses in Singapore, regardless of where they're based.
It's interesting to see how the same friction in cross-border finance shows up from different perspectives, even among people building solutions for global entrepreneurs.

The last time the credit system was updated was in 1899, when Equifax was founded—the same year aspirin was invented.
One of them got an upgrade.
The global trust system hasn't.
@KnightIntelco is for modern earners whom the traditional banking system still fails to understand.
Your "weird" profile doesn't fit into the traditional 9-to-5 payroll system.
We designed our intelligence technology to help financial institutions and governments understand the modern global earner.

Very insightful thesis for @KnightIntelco 🐎
Knight as your Trust Passport
Imagine trying to enter a new country, or a new financial system, every time you open an account, move money, or interact with an institution.
Today, most systems treat you like you have no history. You resubmit the same documents, the same PDFs, the same explanations.
The institution starts from zero. No memory of where you’ve been, how you’ve behaved, or the trust you’ve already earned.
Knight is building the opposite: a Trust Passport.
Your normal passport proves who you are and shows where you’ve traveled.
Knight’s Trust Passport proves who you are and carries your financial track record, credit behavior, on-chain history, and reputation with you, so institutions can see continuity instead of starting over.
This applies to people. It also applies to agents.
As AI systems begin to act, transact, and operate across platforms, the same problem appears: how do you know which agent is authorized, what it’s allowed to do, and whether its behavior has been reliable over time?
Knight embeds both KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYA (Know Your Agent) into the same trust layer.
A human’s financial identity and an agent’s operational history can both travel as portable, structured context.
For users and agents: less friction, fewer resets, and the ability to move across institutions without losing accumulated trust.
For banks, fintechs, neobanks, and platforms: richer context to approve legitimate actors faster, detect risk earlier, and stop treating every new border, or every new agent, like a blank slate.
Money already moves across borders in real time.
Agents are beginning to move too.
Trust still resets at every checkpoint.
Knight is the layer that makes trust travel, for people and for the agents acting on their behalf. ♞

An Osome surprise from Singapore! 🇸🇬
@WeAreOsome
A lovely surprise today! 🤗
Eugenio Ferrante, CEO of Osome @WeAreOsome , gave @KnightIntelco a shoutout on LinkedIn after watching my Asia Tech Podcast @AGTPinsights interview, sharing how closely the problem we're solving resonates with his own experience.
For context, Osome is a Singapore-headquartered, AI-powered business management platform providing company incorporation, accounting, and compliance services. They've served 50,000+ founders across 150+ countries. 🌐
His post highlighted something I've been talking about for a while: global founders aren't necessarily financially unqualified.
They just don't fit the traditional profiles banks were designed to understand.
People went global. Financial infrastructure didn't.
It makes me so happy to see more established names in fintech recognizing the friction in cross-border finance and the world we're building @KnightIntelco for.
We're still early, but these conversations mean a lot.
Onwards! 🐎

Probably one of the best compliments I got at Arbitrum Founder House:
“ @KnightIntelco is like Palantir for banks and governments.”
HAHAHA I'll take that!
I know Palantir has its controversies, but the technology behind intelligence infrastructure is incredibly valuable.
That's what we're building at Knight. Connecting fragmented financial, identity, and on-chain data across jurisdictions to help institutions understand risk, identify bad actors, and make better decisions.
Y'all know how important intelligence tech is to financial institutions and governments, right?
You might not realize it now.
Soon you will. 😉🐎

We'll continue our convos in HK Fintech Week! 🇭🇰
Day 3 of @arbitrum Founder House Singapore: networking networking networking.
This in-person event brought in 100+ builders across 60+ projects from every habitable continent around the world.
Today, after teams submitted their projects, we had a day full of networking with other teams. The most interesting part to me was learning about the story behind every builder in the event.
From OGs dating back from the 2018 era to newer faces, understanding the story behind what brought them to the table. Some shared the excitement behind playing with Defi, taking crazy trades, and even latest yield farming opportunities.
Great mix of first time and repeat founders, some with successful exits and some who continue hustling their way through. Never easy to share the fragile part of building, the amount of pain and suffering it takes to get there is often overlooked.
Congratulations to all the winners of this buildathon again, and looking forward to seeing how many unicorns come out of this cohort.
Over the next couple days, we will go over the advice from all the mentors and teams I've talked to for @zona_io . Couple new exciting updates in the works:
1. Enable stock borrowing
2. Add GLD and a couple more stock tokens requested by users
3. Add in some yield tokens to the lending pool
4. One click looping
5. Enabling 24/7 borrowing when it makes sense
6. Huge promotion campaign coming in 👀
Like the past two days, some more of the gems I discovered today:
@VexiProtocol : options for memecoins and stocks
@DigiPaga_com : crypto payments in latin america
@LockgateFinance : exit infrastructure for tokenized credit
@kiteapp_xyz : cross-border payment with stablecoins
@KnightIntelco : kyc and kyb for onchain products
@gagedotcash : non liquidating lending markets
@martingaleada : tokenized structured products

@KnightIntelco make financial systems smarter 🧠
In the age of AI, financial institutions won't have an information problem.
They'll have an interpretation problem.
Open banking APIs. Blockchains. Digital banks.
Data is abundant, but fragmented.
Knight synthesizes Web2 and Web3 financial data with KYC/KYB identity into a unified, machine-readable trust intelligence profile.
3 capabilities. 1 intelligence report.
Identity verification. Financial intelligence. Compliance orchestration.
The future isn't more data.
It's understanding what it means.
