Yes I came to study in the US but if I run into any financial difficulty my parents would not be able to afford to help me even if they want to. There is nothing more heartbreaking for them than not being able to help their child if the urgent need arises. #OccupyJulorbiHouse

God knows the number of Ghanaians who have gone blind because they couldn’t afford Glaucoma medications.
Even those who could afford initially can no longer get them because the prices of the drugs now are too crazy.
Remember they need to use the drugs for the rest of their lives. 😒

I am protesting because it takes more than six months for doctors to get paid. And while their monies are held up, they work insane and criminal hours in hospitals that are understaffed and underresourced. #OccupyJulorbiHouse

Everyone is turning into a beggar in this country. Everywhere you pass someone is begging you for money. Mostly people who are old enough to be your parents.
More and more people are having their dignity stripped away like this everyday because of poverty.

But that patience has been rewarded now for more than 240 years with a system of governance that has been the envy of the world.
