DYK: Sandy Alcantara was the first Marlins pitcher to win the NL Cy Young Award, doing so unanimously in 2022. He also became just the third Dominican-born pitcher to win the award, joining Pedro Martínez and Bartolo Colón.
In 2026, Alcantara etched his name deeper into the Marlins record books, becoming the franchise leader in career strikeouts, innings, and quality starts. #HHM

DYK: Otto Lopez led the Major Leagues in hits this season with 191.
He is the fourth Dominican-born player to lead MLB outright in hits in a full season. The others are Felipe Alou in 1966, Matty Alou in 1969, and Alfonso Soriano in 2002. #HHM
