Yesterday was our 10th annual Buckle Up Phone Down day, and we want to thank our MoDOT teams, Missouri State Highway Patrol and every other safety organization that shared the BUPD initiative and how it can positively affect Missourians. We all want to make it home safe at the end of the day, remember to do your part by wearing your seat belt and not driving distracted. 👍👎🤝

The Hands-Free Law has been in place for nearly two years now, but we still see drivers on their phones. Please, just stop. It’s dangerous and illegal. 👍👎

When a driver is texting and driving, they are 23 times more likely to be in a critical incident (source: VA Tech). NOTHING is more important than each of us getting home safely, so put the phone down!

No text or phone call is worth a life. When behind the wheel, your only focus should be on the road ahead. 📱👇

In 2025, our TMA trucks were struck 50 times. FIFTY. That's almost once a week! This trend can not continue. Do your part by paying attention and slowing down when you encounter work zones. Be a part of the fix, not the problem 🤝 #BUPD #WorkZoneAwareness #TMA

Large trucks and buses make wider turns, take longer to stop, and have far more blind spots than the average vehicle. Give them space. It’s that simple.

Here’s your reminder to be intentional about looking for motorcycles, especially at intersections and while changing lanes. They can be hard to see, but when you’re looking out FOR them, you are more likely to SEE them!
