Yes, Jay-Z chose himself.
The NFL has partnered with his entertainment company, Roc Nation, as its Super Bowl live music entertainment strategist since 2020.
This year, the strategy was to choose himself as the lead performer.
Breaking: Oregon QB Dante Moore is expected to miss the rest of the college football season, per HC Dan Lanning.
Moore suffered a concussion vs. USC in late September and has not played since. He was projected as one of the top QBs in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Just in: Jay-Z will be the halftime performer for Super Bowl LXI on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
#Cowboys owner Jerry Jones in a suite with Stephen A. Smith at tonight's game:
A very honest answer from #Ravens HC Jesse Minter on player leadership when things are snowballing:
“We have guys that care and want to do it right, but there are also moments in the game where it’s like, ‘Who’s the guy that’s going to grab everybody and get them together on the sideline?’ I think, as a team, we’re working through who that is. Who is that person? Who are those players? … I think there are moments where we need a little bit more.”
#Lions HC Dan Campbell explains why he went for it on fourth down from his own 24 with the game tied:
“I know what you’re conceding, but I also know without any doubt that we’re getting the ball back with plenty of time to answer and rebut whatever they’ve done. It was really that simple."
The #Lions just went for it on 4th-and-1 from their own 24 in a tie game.
It didn't work.
I don't know, man.
#Titans CB Alontae Taylor was active Sunday vs. the Browns after being a healthy inactive last week—but did not play a snap.
The plan to use him at outside CB has not worked thus far, and moving him back to nickel is not so simple in Tennessee's defensive scheme.
#Jets HC Aaron Glenn was asked today about the viral stat that New York has been outscored 107-6 in the final two minutes of the first half under his watch:
“We're trying. We do a two-minute jog through on Wednesday and then we come back and we have a live two-minute on Thursday and then we have another two-minute on Saturday. So, it's not like we're not trying to get that done.”
The #Jets have been outscored 107-6 in the final two minutes of the first half under HC Aaron Glenn.
Mike Tomlin: “If I were them, I would do two-minute every day of my life until further notice.” 💀
#Patriots HC Mike Vrabel, asked about his $250,000 fine for conduct toward officials, says it was meant to remain private and was not supposed to be leaked.
“I think it’s best to talk to the league. They seem to have plenty to say already about it.”
#Giants WR Malik Nabers in his last 4 games:
• 36 catches
• 509 receiving yards
• 2 TDs
• 127.3 yards per game
• 14.1 yards per catch
• 4 straight 100-yard games
Superstar.

#Broncos HC Sean Payton was shocked no one asked him about calling a reverse for Jaylen Waddle on the play he was injured:
"IT WAS AWFUL. I'M SORRY."
This is the other issue with bad officiating: Coaches can’t say anything publicly of else they get fined.
So when #Packers HC Matt LaFleur was asked about it, he had to bite his tongue:
“I don’t even want to comment on any of the penalties.”
Tom Brady has had enough with the officiating.
"My goodness. What is that?"
"There's no way!"
"It's definitely not roughing the passer."
