Going from service industry to corporate desk job stuff to working in a kitchen has been that absolute wildest whiplash ever.
I feel so bad for Nolan Siegel - he's gonna get so much shit for that spin especially because of the whole "Arrow McLaren firing Teddy Porkchops midyear thing..." I really like the McLaren drivers but man, signing a contract with that team apparently doesn't mean security lol.
I couldn't sleep the other night because I suddenly thought "hey, how does the DH rule work on baseball when a position player currently playing in the field comes in to pitch and then goes back into the field afterwards." And I never found my answer. Thus could not sleep.
I know this is shitty to say, but I have some friends on Facebook where almost every post of theirs is essentially complaining about how hard it is being a parent currently and I'm just like "man, being childless fuckin rules." I know I ain't ready for that.

I'm too selfish to have kids man. I see a parent post a completely normal thing that parents deal with daily and I'm like "wow, that sucks, couldn't be me." Shout-out to parents everywhere, I couldn't do a fraction of what y'all do.
Also, our medical system sucks and it's been really miserable to go through this. Now back to my bath.
So, even though I have spent almost $2000 (and that's with having insurance) with no answer, I've had to self medicate myself to handle the pain and nausea. Man, if I wasn't already in favor of legalizing weed, I definitely am now. That shit has been a lifesaver the past month+.
The first appt I could get with the GI was over a month away, which meant another month of eating a super restrictive diet/not being able to really go out and do fun things without my body rebelling against me (I still haven't recovered from going to NASCAR over a week ago) (con)
So, for the past month and a half I've been in and out of the doctor with stomach/liver/digestive issues. The doctor has not been super helpful/hard to communicate with and eventually referred me to a GI, which is what I wanted from day one but I needed the referral first (con)
