Verifying that we've viewed the Slack conversation that took place between @jason_coleman and @photomatt, and can confirm that Matt did threaten to take over Paid Memberships Pro. Story coming soon.

Thank you to everyone who has replied! I’m looking forward to learning about any and all efforts and how I might can help with organization. I, of course, have my own thoughts on the matter. I have a busy work week ahead. I’ll try to find time to share them.

Hello, dear #WordPress friends. So now that most of us are *finally* on the same page that project leadership needs reform, is anyone strategizing how folks can work together to bring change? Are there any efforts being made to organize the community? I’d love to hear from you.

"If I were ever not a good leader, the software could fork" - Matthew Mullenweg
Thanks @photomatt but we didn't need your permission or @Automattic's 💪
The NotMattPress repo auto-sync's with the WordPress repo daily at 4:20am
It automatically changes "WordPress" to "NotMattPress", "Matt Mullenweg" to "No Matt", etc.
So you can run your own version of WordPress without anyone knowing it's WordPress ... because it's Not(MattPress) 😂

Advanced Custom Fields @wp_acf is very much integrated in our OSS ecosystem as evidenced by all of the tutorials on WordPress dot org and the 375 presentations on WordPress dot tv. Not to mention the 3,700 times it occurs as reference on WordPress dot com. @photomatt
