Samedi, le site des Laboratoires Pierre Fabre de Gaillac a ouvert exceptionnellement ses portes à ses collaborateurs, retraités et à leurs proches pour célébrer 50 ans d’histoire et de savoir-faire industriel. Près de 1200 personnes (collaborateurs accompagnés de leur proches, voisins, retraités) ont pu découvrir ou redécouvrir le site à travers des visites de l’usine, des animations familiales avec atelier de chimie, et une exposition retraçant 50 ans d’histoire, entre photos d’archives et témoignages. Une journée pour réunir les générations qui ont contribué et contribuent encore à faire vivre le site de Gaillac Implanté dans le Tarn depuis 1976, le site compte aujourd’hui 210 collaborateurs et constitue la principale unité de production entièrement internalisée de principes actifs du Groupe. Il joue ainsi un rôle clé dans la stratégie de souveraineté industrielle et sanitaire des Laboratoires Pierre Fabre, notamment à travers la production de principes actifs pharmaceutiques et dermo-cosmétiques. Depuis 2022, 30 millions d’euros ont été investis sur le site pour sa modernisation et renforcer ses capacités industrielles.
