Reading for enjoyment in Room 1 after an energetic Achieve More Scotland session 📕

A great afternoon at Outlet Play. Building a swing, climbing trees, drinking hot chocolate, and making s'mores on the campfire made everything so much fun @OutLETscot 😁.

Great work during Mentor time this morning in Room 3. Pupils learned more about Fairtrade products for Fairtrade Fortnight, and researched recipes we could make in class this week.

Writing for enjoyment this morning in Room 3. Pupils picked a stimulus from our "short burst box" and wrote about their picture or stickers ✍️.

During our Rights Respecting lesson this afternoon, pupils in Room 3 learned more about Article 2=Non-Discrimination. Pupils read the story of "Elmer the Elephant" to see that we can celebrate our similarities and differences.

Amazing Tennis skills this afternoon during P.E. Pupils became more confident when serving and returning the ball to each other 🎾.

Lots of learning during emotion works this afternoon. Pupils made links between the orange and red cog, and thought of words to describe their different feelings 👍.

Room 3 practised place value up to 3 digits this morning during Maths. Great concentration during our game 😀.

We have been celebrating Scottish Food & Drink in Room 1. The @irnbru, @taylorssnacks @TunnockOfficial went down a lot better than the crab but we were proud of ourselves for trying something new! #scottishfoodmonth

Room 1 loving being outside…we set small pitfall traps to discover which insects live among us! Watch this space for the results….

Great fun around the fire pit for Toasted marshmallow Day. Some delicious S’mores were enjoyed by all.

A fun afternoon at Outlet Play for Room 3 this afternoon. Climbing trees, going on the swing, relaxing in the hammock and offering to carry the instructor's rucksack made for an enjoyable day 😀 .

Some great Outdoor Learning from Room 1 this afternoon. Pupils used a mixture of natural materials and cotton wool to create a home for hedgehogs in our community. They made sure the area they picked was sheltered and quiet 🤫.

Today it is #WorldPhotographyDay. Room 1 imagined they were advertising their school in a photo exhibition, and took pictures in and around the school 🏫 📸 👏 .

A fantastic trip to Blairdrummond Safari Park today. Great behaviour and lots of fun from all pupils 😁.

Room 3 enjoyed making carrot and coriander soup this afternoon as part of their Junior Duke Award. Both pupils said it tasted great 😀.
