The film @elonmusk would rather you didn't see is now on Apple TV. It earned three Critics' Choice nominations and a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes before TikTok permanently suspended the film's ad account. Elon and his billionaire friends are trying their best to bury this film. See it for yourself now.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results & all, but how many Senate candidates since 2000 have won in a state where 65% disapprove of a president of their party, as this finds for Trump?Maybe Manchin in 2010? Anyone else (it was 58% Trump disapprove for Collins in 20)?

What a line:
"Most Israeli Jews now see the world the way Netanyahu has long seen it. That is Netanyahu’s great victory. But it is matched by his great loss: Much of the world now sees Israel the way Gazans see it." nytimes.com/2026/10/25/opini…

The 2018 Red Sox went 11-3 in the postseason and it felt like they walked to a title. The Brewers are on their way to starting this postseason 10-1. Total dominance.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a road team getting this much crowd support in a World Series. At least since 2000

"We estimate that Mr Trump’s policies will cost the poorest tenth of American households, with average income after taxes and transfers of around $37,000, almost 3% of their income. The richest tenth, with average after-tax incomes of nearly $500,000, will gain nearly 3% (see chart 1). Households in the middle, with average income of roughly $100,000, lose more than $400"
Likely the greater risk to Paxton than switchers: "John Huffman, a Repub & former mayor of the affluent conservative Dallas suburb of Southlake said he left the Senate line on his ballot blank when he voted early." That sank Senate Rs in 24 in AZ/NV/MI/WI wapo.st/4zTDqgX
"Nearly eight months into a war that has destabilized the global energy system, the average price of gas during Trump’s second term is now more expensive than it was during the Biden era, according to a CNN analysis of AAA data." cnn.com/2026/10/26/economy/g…
FIRST ON CBS: As President Trump boasts about how much money the U.S. oil and gas industry is making from the war with Iran, the president's personal holdings in oil and gas are now worth between $22.5 million and $81.6 million, compared with $12.6 million to $46 million at the end of 2025, according to a new report by Democrats on the Congressional Joint Economic Committee. cbsn.ws/47IN9un
Even after the NJ/VA 25 Gov candidates crashed over their refusal to signal any independence from Trump, almost all 2026 blue state Rs are all running into the same wall by clearly signaling to voters they won't push back on Trump, even when he directly threatens the state

In 2015 and 2016, Trump's proposal to ban Muslims entring the U.S. was criticized by several GOP leaders and Trump rivals, with relatively few exceptions. That pyramid has flipped in 2026. @KannoYoungs @Haleaziz nytimes.com/2026/10/24/us/po…

"people with different political views will magically come to my side on policy if i just phrase it with the right magic words" is a lie people tell themselves because they, understandably, don't want to live in a world where hard choices are necessary.

He is, and always has been, a bloviating idiot
one would think that Bill Maher would understand that he is being used by T***p; invited to these dinners by someone on T***p's PR staff, hardly by T***p himself.
depressing to see how easily an intelligent person can be co-opted by power & authority, his vanity assuaged by a mere meal in the White House.
since Maher isn't likely to be arrested/beaten/killed by ICE, or mistaken for a Caribbean fisherman, T***p seems charming to him, "has good etiquette".... "never lost his temper or yelled for the brief, staged duration of time we were with him until we were ushered out with scarcely disguised expressions of contempt for being such willing PR pawns."
Yes non-college voters are a larger share in prez than mid-term. But the non-col share is declining from prez to prez too. In 2012, voters w/out a four year degree were 63.4% of voters per Census. In 24, they were 55%. Catalist/Pew higher in absolute # but similar relative shift
Trump won 51% in PA 7; @nyt/@SienaResearch finds 37% now approve. He won 54% in PA 8; now 43% approve. He won 52% in PA 10; now 43% approve. He won 49.4 while narrowly losing PA 1; now just 35% approve. Among col+ in PA 1, he's at 31-63. Big undertow for Fitzpatrick to surmount
In @CBSNewsPoll, 60% of college+ Whites disapprove of Trump's job & Dems win 56% of col+ Whites in generic. Among non-college Whites, 52% disapprove of Trump, but Dems are winning only 40%. That's a change from 18 when noncol & col Trump disapprovers backed Dems in ~equal numbers
One reason why this matters: In new ntl NYT/Siena College poll, 84% of college+ Whites who disapproved of Trump said they will vote Dem for the House; only 77% of Whites who disapprove of Trump intended to back Democrats; @CNN polls found an even bigger gap in OH/IA Senate races
