Formula 1 ATX rocked!
Although we were rooting for team Ferrari, it was fun to watch Antonelli. Dude is so impressive. A 20 y/o phenom
Retention is incredible for me on Grok Bot
RETENTION is becoming one of the BIGGEST problems for Meta's Muse.
According to data shared by Morgan Stanley, 73% of Muse users are active on Day 1, but by Day 14, that number collapses to just 23%. And what's even more concerning is that Instagram, Google, and Facebook are all showing significantly stronger retention over the same period. This tells us that while Meta might be attracting users initially, it's having a much harder time convincing those users to actually stick around. And as someone who used Muse HEAVILY when it first came out, I can tell you that compared to Grok, Muse is a complete JOKE. The experience simply isn't on the same level, and I think this highlights one of the BIGGEST challenges facing the entire AI agent industry right now. Think about it. What exactly is stopping someone from switching from Muse to Grok, ChatGPT, or another AI agent tomorrow? Absolutely NOTHING. There are very few switching costs and unless these companies can build products that become deeply integrated into people's daily routines, users are going to continue jumping between whichever platform offers the best experience.
And here's why this matters so much for Meta. We're talking about a company spending billions of dollars building AI infrastructure, training increasingly sophisticated models, and trying to establish itself as one of the leaders in artificial intelligence. But none of that matters nearly as much if consumers aren't actually using the products consistently. AI infrastructure is incredibly expensive and without sustained engagement, it's going to become increasingly difficult to justify the economics behind these investments. Getting people to download an application is the EASY part. Convincing them to come back every single day is where the real competitive advantage gets built. Now, I wouldn't completely write Meta off because the company still has one of the BIGGEST distribution advantages in the world through Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook. It also has the financial resources to keep improving its models and products. But distribution alone doesn't guarantee retention, especially when consumers have so many alternatives available to them.
Grok bot enterprise is about to drop. And it will crush.
OpenAI, Anthropic and the like will see a *decline in the growth* of their enterprise usage as soon as people [and companies] experience how magical Grok @bot is.
Elon: "We're seeing the fastest growth of a product that I've ever seen in my life. I've never seen anything grow this fast”
[remember this is Elon saying this + it’s not just hype. Everyone I know who has actually used it in a real way is mind blown daily]
Elon continues:
“Enterprise Grok Bot will be in wide deployment in a few weeks. I think Grok Bot will use most of SI compute."
This is a really good take. More capturing the imagination and less toxic debate online
I’ve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I haven’t seen much discussion. I’m neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldn’t care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. It’s also arguably Elon’s greatest contribution to America. He’s helped bring back something we’ve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on America’s future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? We’ve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they don’t count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. I’ve been both bullish and critical of Tesla’s ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of what’s possible reminds me why I’m glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.
Grok bot has really stepped up its game on usage rates
Cranked literally all day
Unlocked mind blowing results in many projects across my portfolio
Still have 60% usage left 🤯
Just to reiterate, because it’s easy to not realize what you’re actually looking at:
This is a rocket the size of a 17 STORY BUILDING dispersing satellites the size of a SCHOOL BUS - like a pez dispenser…. in f*ng space.
Elon is the most legendary entrepreneur ever born
My 11 year old nephew 3D prints toys for himself and is now setting up a store to sell his favorite items online.
He uses AI agents and has also posted over 250 YouTube videos [gaming streams etc].
He’s 11.
What a time to be alive

Understand that the more grateful you feel…
…the less negativity you will experience.
Which will lead to less doubt and less anxiety…
Which in turn gives abundance of positive energy…
Which you have available to focus on productive thoughts and actions.
And productive thoughts and actions are what create your “ultimate life”.
Your ultimate life starts with gratitude.
love it or hate it
the dallas cowboys are America’s 🇺🇸 team
the brand is a global icon and all teams are jealous
So many people are confused about what franchising actually is.
Franchising is a business model and expansion strategy.
It gives people the opportunity to enter into an agreement to own the lion’s share of the revenue for a brand in a protected territory.
Take the coffee category for example.
Starbucks is a giant corporation where all of the monies from sales at a vast majority of their locations accrue to Starbucks corporation (minus some licensed stores in airports and Target’s etc)
Dunkin' and 7 Brew grow through franchising.
Their shops are owned by local operators and ~90% of the revenue stays with local owners.
Franchising gives opportunity to those that want to own something for themselves, but not by themselves.
Dmytro is awesome, and home service base has very unique data. Check it out
ServiceTitan is doing a great job reaching its ideal customers. They dominate the field service management software market among PE-owned companies and focus on more mature businesses.
ServiceTitan: ~35% of customers have more than one Google Business Profile, and 80%+ have been in business for more than 3 years.
Housecall Pro, in comparison: Only ~13% of customers have more than one Google Business Profile, and just over half have been in business for more than 3 years.
Same industry, but a clear difference in who they serve.
Software usage data is now much more accurate than before, with 4,000+ software products tracked.
Home Service Base has around 50% of all ServiceTitan customers in its database, and that number kee
Let’s say a dude named Dario is driving 150mph on the highway.
And he has a mission to get to the destination as fast as possible.
Instead of taking his foot off the gas…
Dario keeps making efforts to drive faster while also coordinating with the press to publish hysterical articles about how driving fast is dangerous 🤷♂️
I don’t doubt driving fast dangerous.
But I don’t trust Dario’s intentions in this ‘totally hypothetical’ situation.
Becker with the sauce
My entire feed is post like this.
Reading social media you'd assume the world has gone to hell.
It hasn't. Things are better than ever. You have more access, opportunity, quality of living, etc than ever in history.
Stop reading algos meant to piss you off. Stop comparing your life to success bros and IG models.
Go outside. Text a friend. Shut up and use the endless access to info and AI super intelligence you now have to SUCCEED rather than bitch and moan.
Nothing is stopping you from enjoying life except the perma-psychosis your phone and TV is giving you.
It's fine. Chill the f out.
Interestingly close to how franchising works.
> Investor / operator puts up capital
> They take a lion share of the revenue generated
> They piggyback a phenomenal brand and product/ service
> In return for maintaining the local execution of managing a well kept up fleet (etc) the investor gets paid their cut, the brand takes their rip too.
> The brand benefits by getting more product sales and faster distribution
> The investor has an asset that earns them cash flow; keep getting paid or sell the fleet.
