Farage refuses to condemn his friend and former colleague @RaheemKassam for calling Kemi Badenoch a “Nigerian scammer”, an utterly racist slur with obvious insinuations.
The entire Reform Party’s coordinated response on this only reinforces the ITV exposé and shows this was never just “a few bad apples”.
Right on cue, pedestrianising Oxford Street, a brilliant idea that could improve the experience and safety of tens of millions of people every year while boosting the local economy, has become the latest excuse for a wave of hate and faux outrage.
It really is getting boring now.
It’s hard to put a finger on why exactly, but this is total vacuous trash. It fails to make any kind of connection to my soul.
I just can’t see AI coming close to reproducing human emotion, nuance and creativity. Maybe I’m naive but this attempt shows AI is just way off.

It took Andy Burnham just three months to inherit the same levels of hatred and vitriol that drove Keir Starmer out of office.
Apparently, we’re now supposed to believe that another lifelong public servant becomes PM and suddenly his mission is to deliberately “import rapists and criminals”, the phrase so many have been conditioned to repeat, and destroy our country. We’re supposed to believe that, are we? Despite immigration falling dramatically under this government and crime declining over the longer term.
You can’t even let the man spend one evening at home filming a TV show to raise awareness for a cancer charity without people piling on with manufactured outrage. Just think about how ridiculous that is.
Same narratives. Same fearmongering. Same manufactured outrage. And the same people falling for it, just as they did with Starmer.
This has nothing to do with Burnham. It wouldn’t have mattered who was in power or what policies they pursued. A decade of manipulation has left people primed to have their fear and anger switched on in a heartbeat and directed at whoever those driving the outrage want to destroy. And so many have become part of that machine without even realising it.
Burnham is absolutely terrifying the hard-right grifters right now.
They simply have no answer to someone who approaches politics with empathy, inclusion and hope. Someone who meets their fearmongering with positivity, their division with inclusion, and their outrage with calm, rational argument.
Their entire model depends on generating fear, finding someone to blame; they are totally lost when up against someone refusing to play their game.
The replies below are genuinely disturbing. People piling into Burnham with accusations about immigration, rape and crime, seemingly without any regard for facts or context.
Immigration, including small boat arrivals, has fallen sharply under this government, while recorded crime trends over the past 20 years do not support the simplistic narrative that rising immigration means rising crime.
Yet people are being whipped into a state of anger and fear, and politicians are being attacked regardless of what they have actually said or done.
This is what years of fearmongering and outrage-driven propaganda do to public discourse. They replace evidence with emotion, nuance with scapegoating, and rational debate with hostility.
When people become so consumed by these narratives that they stop questioning the claims being fed to them, it becomes a serious problem for our democracy.
Burnham bringing significant attention to Stand Up To Cancer, a charity that has helped raise $825 million globally for cancer charities, while highlighting the plight of literally millions of families forced to live through this, by spending a few hours where he lives with a camera crew.
And all the disingenuous grifters and haters out there can come up with is:
“Why is he on TV instead of solving all the UK’s problems?”
The problems he inherited.
Apparently, raising awareness for cancer charities for a couple of hours is only acceptable if you can simultaneously fix the economy, the NHS, housing, crime and every other problem in Britain.
Those few hours probably helped raise millions.
The manufactured outrage is pathetic.
For a man who endlessly boasts about his first-principles thinking, Elon Musk’s inability to distinguish a political party’s name from its actual ideology, history and actions is a breathtaking display of intellectual failure.
Yes, the full Nazi Party name was the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP). But just because the Nazis had the word socialist in their name does not mean they were a socialist party, just as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is not a democratic country.
The Nazis systematically destroyed Germany’s independent socialist and communist movements. In 1933, they arrested communist and socialist politicians and sent many to concentration camps. They banned the Social Democratic Party, Germany’s main democratic socialist party. They crushed the Communist Party (KPD), arresting its leaders, and destroyed all independent trade unions.
Elon Musk needs to understand that a single word in a party’s name does not override its entire ideology, history and actions. Confusing the two is not first-principles thinking. It is the complete abandonment of critical thinking.
