This team has been elite in the regular season and then fallen short in the playoffs for what seems like the last half decade. Why would this year be any different? This year is the first year where this team is elite in every single aspect of the game. In 2023 they had an elite rotation with Corbin Burnes and Brandon Woodruff in their primes followed by a young Freddy Peralta. However that season the Brewers offense let them down. Last year the brewers had an elite offense but in the playoffs their pitching staff consisted of Freddy Peralta, Quinn Priester, and Jose Quintana. This year they will be led by arguably the best pitcher in the sport in Jacob Misiorowski, followed by a blooming young stud in Kyle Harrison and an elite bullpen. The offense may be the best it’s ever been. They are full of power, speed, and guys that just get on base and don’t strike out. I believe they will also be sneakily aggressive at the deadline this year as the front office knows this is the best all around team they have ever had. They have the best farm in baseball and can make a big splash without having to give up any of their big piece prospects. Give me the Brewers to finally get over the hump in 2026.
