At @PNUDCameroun, we are proud to celebrate #Solar Bright Future, a #Cameroon-based initiative empowering displaced and crisis-affected communities through renewable energy and sustainable economic opportunities, for being named a finalist in the #2026 Heroes of Tomorrow: UN SDG Action Awards.
The initiative shows how local innovation can support recovery, strengthen community resilience, and create opportunities for those furthest behind.

Proud to learn that the @WmnsJusticeInit and @tabanshoresh, founder of @thelotusf, have been named a Finalist in the Resilience and Changemakers category respectively for the 2026 #HeroesOfTomorrow UN SDG Action Campaign Awards. 🌟
The @WmnsJusticeInit (WJI), a twice-funded grantee partner of the @UNTrustFundEVAW, works with Indigenous communities to strengthen women’s and girls’ access to legal information and justice while supporting their leadership within their communities.
The @UNTrustFundEVAW also supported @thelotusf from 2021 to 2024, backing its women-led efforts to transform lives and create lasting change in communities affected by conflict and displacement.
