GM☀️ Especially to those that see deeper than surface level and are able to imagine Bitcoin as The People’s Network. An instrument with incalculable utilitarian properties. The history and growth of civilization has always depended heavily on our ability to imagine, create, record, preserve, distribute, and secure information across generations. We have done this through language, oral tradition, books, song, art, mathematics, and countless other forms of human expression. Much of what has survived was not preserved as raw information alone. It was carried through stories, images, music, symbols, and works that often left meaning open to the interpretation of the observer. This is part of what I see in the Ordinals protocol and the Bitcoin network. The ability to inscribe files onto Bitcoin creates implications that extend far beyond collectibles or financial assets. It provides a model for preserving human knowledge and human sentiment on a globally distributed, immutable network. Mathematics. Language. Agriculture. Science. Physics. How to grow food. How to build shelter. How things work. Foundational knowledge that humanity depends on should be preserved, sourced, and transparently accessible across the world and across generations. I see the Ordinals protocol as a step in that direction because it provides a model capable of pursuing that trajectory. I also see a similar essence in preserving the best of our personal energy and focus, the thoughts they seed, and the contributions born through their expression. Bitcoin itself is created through a transformation of energy. Energy is expended, that transformation is secured by the network, and the result becomes something real and durable within a permanent system. I see a parallel in human thought. A person lives. Observes. Thinks. Experiences. Forms an idea. Expends mental energy giving that idea structure and language. Then expresses it. When that thought is deliberately inscribed and secured on the Bitcoin network, something that once existed only within a living mind becomes part of a permanent historical record. That is sentiment. Human sentiment. A record of what people living at a particular moment in civilization thought, valued, questioned, understood, and believed was important enough to preserve. That is why I inscribed The People Who Actually Build the World. I did not simply want to publish the article. I wanted to document the sentiment.

Tried 3 over-easy and I was pleasantly surprised. I’m going to need to do more taste research though and eventually finish the dozen. As of right now I would say that duck would be my 1st choice. Not better just different.

GM ☀️ I don't know who needs to hear this but.................. Respecting someone's contribution does not mean accepting their implementation as the final or ideal expression of that contribution. In fact, treating an implementation as untouchable can work against the very progress that made it possible. Every generation of builders inherits knowledge, methods, tools, and discoveries from those who came before. They examine them through their own experiences, circumstances, capabilities, and needs. Some things they preserve. Some they modify. Others they replace entirely. That's how knowledge accumulates and civilization advances. And there's something particularly important about variation. An improvement isn't always a universally superior replacement. Sometimes it's a variation that serves a particular person, environment, or purpose better. That variation can reveal possibilities the original creator never considered. Think about architecture, engineering, education, or technology. We don't all live in the same environment, possess the same abilities, face the same challenges, or share the same priorities. So why would we expect one person's implementation to be ideal for everyone? You can recognize the value of what others create without assuming their priorities, experiences, vision, or intended users are identical to your own. You're not obligated to inherit their designs, decisions, or beliefs simply because you're benefiting from their knowledge. We honor the contributions of others not by preserving every implementation unchanged, but by allowing their knowledge to become the foundation for further discovery, variation, and improvement. That's not disrespecting the original builder. That's participating in the same process of discovery and creation that made their contribution possible. And whether we're talking about open-source software, engineering, architecture, education, or the systems through which we organize civilization, that process is fundamental to human progress. Knowledge isn't the finish line. It's what enables the next builder to go further.
