Lovely, lovely Belfast! What a fantastic visit to a city full of history, character and warmth. From the Titanic to exploring the city’s history through the Troubles and a visit to Crumlin Road Gaol, there’s been so much to see, experience and drink …🍺

Europe's largest traditional Chinese garden is HERE🏡!
The Chinese Streamside Garden at RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford, UK, has opened its doors to the public. This is a rich and peaceful place, with 11 interconnected gardens, including 10 planting zones and the core Yangzhou Scholars' Garden. Every step reveals a view, and each pavilion offers a world of its own.
The beauty of Chinese gardens blooming in the UK — and a living symbol of the growing Yangzhou-Salford friendship. @SalfordCouncil
It was a real pleasure to welcome the Prime Minister to the amazing Humphrey Booth Centre today, showcasing the fantastic work being done to support people living with dementia and their families across Salford.
Another great ward walkabout, this time in Swinton Park Ward. Always good to get out and about in our communities, see what’s happening on the ground and hear firsthand about the things that matter to local people.

After nearly eight years in the making, the Chinese Streamside Garden — the largest of its kind in Europe — has opened in Salford, bringing a distinctive Chinese presence to northern England. Its centerpiece, the Yangzhou Scholars' Garden, is inspired by the classical gardens of Yangzhou in East China's Jiangsu province.

A real joy to attend the opening celebration of the Yangzhou Scholar’s Garden at RHS Bridgewater.
It is an amazing garden, made possible by the passion, skill and commitment of so many people from China, the UK and the RHS.
I really enjoyed speaking alongside Tim Johnson and Lady Lucy French at Downtown in Business’s Talking ’Bout Regeneration pre-conference dinner at Fogo de Chão last night.
It was a great discussion on regeneration, investment and the opportunities ahead for our cities.
