Lightning above, glowing waves below! 🌊⚡ Surfers rode bioluminescent waves as a storm lit up the sky in the distance, creating an incredible scene. Bioluminescence is light produced by a chemical reaction within a living organism, such as algae. When the organisms are moved by waves or a splash in the water, the light becomes visible.
