Following our investigation into the recent video circulating on social media of a Sunnybrook employee using racist language toward a fellow passenger on public transit, the individual is no longer employed at Sunnybrook.
We recognize the harm this incident has caused, especially for our Black colleagues, patients, physicians, learners, volunteers and supporters.
Sunnybrook is aware of a video circulating online that appears to show an individual wearing apparel bearing our organization’s name using racist language toward another person.
Sunnybrook is committed to building an equitable and inclusive environment for our patients and all who work, learn and live within our community. The language and behaviour in the video is unacceptable and inconsistent with this commitment and our values.
As of today, our Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) clinic has relocated to F-Wing on the 1st Floor (Room F118).

Starting today, November 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., the M-Wing patient pick-up and drop-off area on the Ground Floor level of Parking Garage 1 at our Bayview campus will reopen to vehicles.

This weekend, construction to repair the Parking Garage 1 exit ramp at our Bayview campus will begin.
The ramp will be closed to all vehicle traffic and TTC busses on weekends until Saturday, October 18, 2025.
