Castlevania Judgment was a 2008 arena fighting game for the Wii, developed by Eighting for Konami.
Produced by Koji Igarashi, it was the first (and only) traditional fighting game in the series. It features redesigned characters by manga artist Takeshi Obata and uses Wii Remote + Nunchuk motion controls for free-movement combat in gothic arenas.
The character roster includes series staples such as Simon and Trevor Belmont, Alucard, Maria Renard, Sypha Belnades, Shanoa, Cornell, Carmilla, Death, and Dracula.
Reception was mostly negative and it is widely viewed as a flawed experiment that failed to appeal to either fighting-game or Castlevania audiences, but a few praised the presentation, music, and novelty of the crossover-style cast

#screenshotsaturday Another change I made recently was letting you cancel melee into device use which opens up some options #gamedev
Did you ever wonder why when CRT gaming you can look at the screen up close and it doesn’t hurt your eyes like a TV broadcast would?
Here is the science:
Both standard consumer CRT TVs and classic arcade monitors 15 kHz tubes running near 60 Hz. Flicker perception on a CRT depends mainly on refresh rate and the comfort difference between gaming and TV/Movies is to do with progressive vs interlaced content:
•Most classic arcade games (and 8/16-bit consoles) output progressive 240p. Every line is redrawn each frame, so the image is stable. The dark gaps people call scanlines are just undrawn lines, not interlace twitter.
•Consumer TVs were built for interlaced broadcast (480i/576i). On 480i, odd and even fields alternate, so high-contrast edges and fine detail can shimmer at 30 Hz when watching TV shows.
Therefore for CRT use 240p is comfortable up close while 480i is quickly tiring on the same television at a similar distance.
Now you know!
Are you ready for the whipping?!!

Dude fuck off! Now you're just disrespecting the OG artist who did the old Zelda games by making shitty AI art with a generic anime girl's face that looks ugly & does not match the style. You don't deserve to be in the space and you need to GTFO of our community!
Celebrating Super Mario Bros 3’s 38th birthday here is a very rare pre-release promotional artwork by Nintendo artist Yoichi Kotabe. You can see his early sketch and finished piece. This design was later altered for the west and appeared on certain merchandise.
Did you buy Mario Bros 3 when it was first released?
