Last week, the City of Norwalk broke ground on a new natural gas delivery station and pipeline upgrades, marking a major step toward strengthening the region's energy infrastructure and supporting future economic growth. With more than $12 million in investment from Columbia Gas of Ohio and North Coast Gas Transmission, this project will help support the expansion of three local advanced manufacturers, creating more than 100 new jobs while retaining hundreds of existing positions. As the first project supported by JobsOhio's Energy Opportunity Initiative, this investment demonstrates the power of collaboration in removing barriers to business growth. Spray Products Corporation, a leading contract manufacturer of aerosol and liquid consumer products, announced plans to expand its operation in Medina, creating 32 new jobs and retaining 156 positions.
