Can anyone help me find more Bitaxes that basically work except for the mining chips? I'd like to make more of these Robot Tickers! I even have very detailed documentation, but it currently only applies to a single user (buyer from @NoderunnersNET Conf)! thebitcoingame.com/bitaxe-ro…
Here's my Bitaxe Robot Ticker, on display and up for auction at the @NoderunnersNET Conference 2026. It's a 3D-printed Bitaxe stand I designed and hand-painted, with a Bitaxe running software I developed. A web interface lets you customize it. Sound on for more details!

Scam of the day, using legit @OneLogin infrastructure and email authentication. Emails says it's from ChatGPT Account Team, but [email protected] is the actual email address. Careful out there.

Ways to lose your BTC (ETF custodians aren't immune): • hacks • bugs/vulns • self-rekt: errors/overcomplication • phishing • wrench attack • key loss: fire, flood, theft • forget passphrase • custodian fraud/collapse • death/incapacity, no inheritance plan • gov seizure

Inspired by this post... And I didn't even mention quantum fears, since that's not as proven as the above. teapaw.org/MDBitcoin/status/21165…

The Binance hacker might have just pulled off one of the smartest moves I’ve seen in crypto. First, Tether froze $1.5 billion in USDT. Then Circle froze another $800 million in USDC. At that point, it looked like the hacker’s money was trapped. But apparently, he had already planned for that. Instead of holding the stolen USDT in a wallet, he allegedly deposited it into Aave and used it as collateral to borrow ETH. Then he walked away. That’s where the story gets crazy. Tether can freeze the USDT sitting in the wallet. But it can’t freeze the ETH he already borrowed. So now Aave is left holding frozen collateral, while the hacker is sitting on liquid ETH. And unless the protocol can recover it somehow, he may not even need to pay the loan back. Two companies froze billions of dollars in seconds. But someone who understood how to use DeFi may have found a way around both of them. Pretty insane when you think about it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The described Aave deposit used only ~60M USDT as collateral to borrow 19,762 WETH before freezes hit the main wallet, not the bulk of funds; Aave states the overcollateralized position is subject to normal liquidation with no material protocol risk. governance.aave.com/t/binance-hot-… x.com/binance/status… drk.vc/news/binance-1…

Are ETFs, next? The fuckers holding that BTC better be token maxing on security.

I designed a 3D-printed version of a @binance logo that intrigued me. What do you think, @cz_binance?

I can't say enough how helpful Codex is for organizing and manipulating your synth's sounds and soundbanks, if you upload/download sounds/patches to your computer. #Synthesizer #Synth #Synths #Synthesizers

While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected. Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions. Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent. But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models? We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem. Read the full report: cohere.com/blog/concerning-b…

@btcqna Can you share screenshots of what I'd have seen if I clicked the link in the email? While we're all freaked out by the PII, I'm also curious what the hackers were going for. I assume entering our seeds on their website, but that's the one aspect of this I haven't seen.

I was trying to be extra caution, but let's see. Tor browser ended up at foundation.xyz/ But private browser (using VPN) ended up at foundation.com.im/ So not foundation.support. And yeah, it seems cloaking based on IP. Here's the malicious site screenshots.

I bit the bullet and took screenshots of the malicious @FoundationHQ site. Apparently it was originally hosted at foundation(.)support, but for me just now it was foundation(.)com(.)im. My guess is the attackers have more "foundation" domains ready to use as each gets shut down.

Here's the receipt found in the pocket of the men's shorts I just received from @amazon. They were sold to me as new, but my guess is they were worn on an Italian vacation and then returned. It was over 90° there that date, so probably a bit of sweat was absorbed into the fibers.

New release: Electrum 4.8.3. This release fixes a critical security issue, so we urge all users to upgrade. A description of the vulnerability will be published later today. (note: Windows Defender may show a warning about ZXing.dll, ignore that, it is a false positive)
