Yesterday, Marley and I started at Riverside Park and walked past HB Rowe Park to the 1 1/4 mile marker on the Greenway Trail. This is the point we stopped at 2 days ago completing both the entire Greenway Trail this spring and the Save The Sea Turtles Virtual 5K! – at Mount Airy, NC

I've read a lot of "heavy" books this month, including Uncle Tom's Cabin, so I decided to try something a little lighter at month's end. Last year, I read The Soul of an Octopus by Sy Montgomery and adored it. Honestly, who didn't become octopus fans after reading Remarkably Bright Creatures, though? Yesterday, Kenny, Marley, and I walked the Greenway in Mount Airy. We started at the parking lot at Tharrington School and walked right - back to Comfort Inn - where Marley and I stopped a few days prior. Then we all backtracked, going past Tharrington School as well as Chase and Charli's, up to the 1 1/4 mile marker and back, completing the virtual Zombie Run 5k for @WeRun5K! – at Mount Airy, NC
