Republicans launched their illegal assault on our government and American families on January 20, and we will not ignore the devastation theyβve caused in just two months. People lost their jobs. The economy is in freefall. Veterans have been tossed aside like garbage. Families are furious.
And now these same cowardly Republicansβtoo scared to even look their own voters in the eye at town hallsβwant to hand Trump and Musk a blank check to slash, gut, and hijack federal funding however they damn well please. This isnβt just corruption; itβs a full-blown power grab. Iβve said it directly to Democratic leaders across the party: we will not stand for this.
Republicans have a choice: negotiate in good faith with Democrats, or own the chaos theyβre unleashing. They are threatening Social Security, ripping Medicaid away from hundreds of thousands, gutting schools, veterans' services, and public landsβall to line the pockets of their ultra-wealthy donors with obscene tax cuts. Itβs disgusting.
Americans deserve a responsible, bipartisan budgetβnot one dictated by Trumpβs whims. Congressβnot that wannabe dictatorβmust control federal spending.
And since Republicans are too spineless to face their own constituents, Democrats will do it for them. Starting this weekend, weβre heading into red districts in every state to hold in-person town halls and listen to voters who are mad as hell at what Trump, Musk, and the GOP are doing to this country. The fight isnβt comingβitβs already here.

Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch.
President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.
