Correct, please ignore the $20M hole Dipoto put you in and do more business with the M’s.

The #Mariners have a 2027 rotation featuring Logan Gilbert, George Kirby, Bryan Woo, Bryce Miller, Emerson Hancock, Logan Evans, Kade Anderson, and Ryan Sloan I wonder if the #WhiteSox could explore a trade for one of their starters And before the comments, no, Luis Castillo being bad should not make them afraid to trade with Seattle

There is just something about two former Astros, that they willingly let go, being the finalists for the Mariners managerial position that doesn't sit right with me. An axhaustive search ended up here?

Seattle is poised to have five compensatory picks in 2027 from the free-agent losses of Boye Mafe, Kenneth Walker, Tariq Woolen and Coby Bryant. They’ll also receive a third-round pick after executive Nolan Teasley became Minnesota’s GM. That flexibility has allowed Seattle to be aggressive in the trade market, and now they land Quenton Nelson.

Trade: The #Colts are sending eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the #Seahawks, per @AdamSchefter and me. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. A Colts legend goes to the champs.

Kanzler is still very much in the hunt it seems, no matter how outside of the box that hire might be.

Sources: The Mariners are bringing in Joe Espada and Jason Kanzler to Seattle this week for in-person interviews for their managerial vacancy. Plus, another name they interviewed that is no longer in the running, and a follow-up on Stephen Vogt... mlb.com/news/mariners-interv…

Starting the season in May would suck but also not the end of the world if the alternative is losing an entire year of baseball

Look no further than the NHL’s canceled 2004-05 season for the economic outcome MLB owners will chase to the ends of the earth.

There is a major shake-up at Microsoft. The Seattle Times reported the company is offering buyouts to about 60,000 employees — roughly a quarter of its workforce — in an effort to avoid more layoffs. Updates here: mynorthwest.com/money/micros…

AJ Ellis and Nick Hundley both make a lot of sense and are starting to pop up in some commentary again. Rocco isn’t a forgone conclusion it sounds like.
